A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported: I still seem to see the glistening of the perfume where the hair parted on Allah's Messenger's ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) head as he was in the state of Ihram, and Khalaf (one of the narrators) did not say: As he was in the state of Ihram, but said: That was the perfume of Ihram.

وحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، وَسَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، وَأَبُو الرَّبِيعِ، وَخَلَفُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، وَقُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ - قَالَ يَحْيَى: أَخْبَرَنَا، وقَالَ الْآخَرُونَ: - حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا، قَالَتْ: «كَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى وَبِيصِ الطِّيبِ فِي مَفْرِقِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ»، وَلَمْ يَقُلْ خَلَفٌ: وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ، وَلَكِنَّهُ قَالَ: وَذَاكَ طِيبُ إِحْرَامِهِ

منصور نے ابرا ہیم سے انھوں نے اسود سے اور انھوں نے حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے روایت کی انھوں نے کہا : مجھے ایسا لگتا ہے کہ جیسے میں آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی مانگ میں خوشبو کی چمک دیکھ رہی ہوں جبکہ آپ احرا م باند ھ چکے ہیں ۔ خلف نے "" جبکہ آپ احرا م باند ھ چکے ہیں "" کے الفا ظ نہیں کہے ۔ لیکن انھوں نے یہ کہا وہ آپ کے احرا م کی خوشبو تھی ( جو آپ نے احرا م باند ھنے سے پہلے اپنے جسم کو لگوائی تھی )

A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported that when the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) intended to enter upon the state of Ihram he perfumed himself with the best of perfumes which he could find and after that I saw the glistening of oil on his head and beard.
