Asma' reported Allah's Messenger (way peace be upon him) as saying (to her): Spend and do not calculate, (for) Allah would calculate in your case; and do not hoard, otherwise Allah would be withholding from you.
و حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ وَإِسْحَقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ جَمِيعًا عَنْ أَبِي مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ زُهَيْرٌ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خَازِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ حَمْزَةَ وَعَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ الْمُنْذِرِ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ انْفَحِي أَوْ انْضَحِي أَوْ أَنْفِقِي وَلَا تُحْصِي فَيُحْصِيَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكِ وَلَا تُوعِي فَيُوعِيَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكِ
  محمد بن خازم نے حدیث بیان کی کہا : ہمیں ہشام بن عروہ نے عبادبن حمزہ اور فا طمہ بنت منذر حدیث بیان کی اور انھوں نے حضرت اسماء رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی ، انھوں نے کہا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فر ما یا : " ( مال کو ) ہر طرف خرچ کرو ۔ ۔ یا ( پانی کی طرح بہاؤ یا خرچ کرو ۔ ۔ ۔ اور شمار نہ کرو ورنہ اللہ بھی تمھیں شمار کر کر کے دے گا اور سنبھا ل کر نہ رکھو ورنہ اللہ بھی تم سے سنبھا ل کر رکھے گا ۔

Asma', daughter of Abu Bakr, reported that abe came to the Messenger of Allah (may peace he upon him) and said: Apostle of Allah, I have nothing with me, but only, that which is given to me by Zubair (for household expenses). Is there any sin for me if I spend out of that which is given to me (by Zabair)? Upon this he (the Holy Prophet) said: Spend according to your means; and do not hoard, for Allah will withhold from you.

Abu Huraira reported that the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) had said: Seven are (the persons) whom Allah would give protection with His Shade on the Day when there would be no shade but that of Him (i. e. on the Day of Judgment, and they are): a just ruler, a youth who grew up with the worship of Allah; a person whose heart is attached to the mosques; two persons who love and meet each other and depart from each other for the sake of Allah; a man whom a beautiful woman of high rank seduces (for illicit relation), but he (rejects this offer by saying): I fear Allah ; a person who gives charity and conceals it (to such an extent) that the right hand does not know what the left has given: and a person who remembered Allah in privacy and his eyes shed tears.

Abu Huraira reported that there came a person to the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) and said: Messenger of Allah, which charity is the best? Upon this he said: That you should give charity (in a state when you are) healthy and close-fisted, one haunted by the fear of poverty, hoping to become rich (charity in such a state of health and mind is the best). And you must not defer (charity to such a length) that you are about to die and would he saying: This is for so and so, and this is for so and so. Lo, it has already come into (the possession of so and so).
