Suddi reported: I asked Anas how I should turn-to the right or to the left-when I say my prayers. He said: I have very often seen the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) turning to the right.
و حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ السُّدِّيِّ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَنَسًا كَيْفَ أَنْصَرِفُ إِذَا صَلَّيْتُ عَنْ يَمِينِي أَوْ عَنْ يَسَارِي قَالَ أَمَّا أَنَا فَأَكْثَرُ مَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَنْصَرِفُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ
  ابو عوانہ نے ( اسماعیل بن عبدالرحمان ) سدی سے روایت کہ ، انھوں نے کہا : میں نے حضرت انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے پوچھا : جب میں نماز پڑھ لوں تو اپنارخ کیسے موڑوں ، اپنی دائیں طرف یا اپنی بائیں طرف سے؟انھوں نے کہا : میں نے تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو زیادہ تردائیں طرف سے رخ پھیرتے دیکھا ہے ۔

Anas reported: The Apostle of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) used to turn to the right (at the end of the prayer).

Bara' reported: When we prayed behind the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) we cherished to be on his right side so that his face would turn towards us (at the end of the prayer), and he (the narrator) said: I heard him say: O my Lord! save me from Thy torment on the Day when Thoil, wouldst raise or gather Thy servants.
