Anas b. Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) observed Qunut for a month in the dawn prayer after ruku' and invoked curse upon Ri'l, Dhakwan, and said that 'Usayya had disobeyed Allah and His Apostle ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ).

وَحَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ، وَأَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى، وَاللَّفْظُ لِابْنِ مُعَاذٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي مِجْلَزٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ: قَنَتَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ شَهْرًا بَعْدَ الرُّكُوعِ فِي صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ يَدْعُو عَلَى رِعْلٍ، وَذَكْوَانَ، وَيَقُولُ: عُصَيَّةُ عَصَتِ اللهَ وَرَسُولَهُ

ابو مجلز نے حضرت انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت کو کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ایک مہینے تک صبح کی نماز میں رکوع کے بعد قنوت کی ، آپ رعل اور ذکوان کے خلاف بددعا فرماتے تھے اور کہتے تھے : ‘ ‘ عصیہ نے اللہ اور اس کے رسول کی نافرمانی کی ۔ ’’

Anas b. Malik reported that the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) observed Qunut for a month in the dawn prayer after ruku' and invoked curse upon Bani Usayya.

Asim reported: I asked Anas whether Qunut was observed (by the Holy prophet) before ruku' or after ruku'. He replied: Before ruku'. I said: People conceive that the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) observed Qunut after the ruku'. He said: The Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) observed Qunut (after the ruku' as the people conceive it) for a mouth invoking curse upon those persons who had killed men among his Companions who were called the reciter (of the Qur'an).

Asim reported - I heard Anas saying: Never did I ace the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) so much grieved (at the loss of a) small army as I saw him grieved at those seventy men who were called reciters (and were killed) at Bi'r Ma'una; and he invoked curse for full one month upon their murderers.
