Translation

This hadith has been narrated by Mansur with the same chain of transmitters, with a slight modification of words.

حَدَّثَنَاهُ أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ بَشْرٍ، ح، قَالَ: وَحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، كِلَاهُمَا عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ وَفِي رِوَايَةِ ابْنِ بِشْرٍ «فَلْيَنْظُرْ أَحْرَى ذَلِكَ لِلصَّوَابِ» وَفِي رِوَايَةِ وَكِيعٍ «فَلْيَتَحَرَّ الصَّوَابَ»

ابن بشر اور وکیع دونوں نے مسعر سے اور انھوں نے منصور سے اسی سند کے ساتھ حدیث بیان کی ابن بشر کی روایت مین ہے : ’’وہ غور کرے کہ اس میں سے صحت کے قریب ترکیا ہے ؟ ‘ ‘ اور وکیع کی روایت میں ہے : ’’ وہ صحیح ( صورت کو یاد رکرنے ) کی جستجو کرے ۔ ‘ ‘

Mas'ud) reported: The Apostle of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) said five rak'ahs of the noon prayer and when he completed the prayer, It was said to him: Has there been (commanded) an addition In prayer? He said: What is it? They said: You have said five rak'ahs, so he performed two prostrations.
