This hadith is transmitted on the authority of 'Ali, but he made no mention of while in prostration .
وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ قُتَيْبَةُ، عَنْ حَاتِمِ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ حُنَيْنٍ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ فِي السُّجُودِ
  ۔ عبد اللہ بن حنین کے ایک اور شاگرد محمد بن مکندر نے یہی حدیث حضرت علی ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ ‌ ‌ سے روایت کی لیکن سجدے میں قراءت کا ذکر نہیں کیا ۔
