Al-Bara' reported, and he was no liar: When the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) said: Allah listened to him who praised Him, none of us bent his back till he (the Holy Prophet) prostrated; we then, afterwards, went down in prostration.

وَحَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ خَلَّادٍ الْبَاهِلِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، حَدَّثَنِي الْبَرَاءُ، وَهُوَ غَيْرُ كَذُوبٍ قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، إِذَا قَالَ: «سَمِعَ اللهِ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ لَمْ يَحْنِ أَحَدٌ مِنَّا ظَهْرَهُ، حَتَّى يَقَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَاجِدًا، ثُمَّ نَقَعُ سُجُودًا بَعْدَهُ» <ہیڈنگ 1>

سفیان نے ابو اسحاق سے ، انہوں نے عبد اللہ بن یزید سے اور انہوں نے حضرت براء ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ ‌ ‌ سے حدیث بیان کی اور وہ جھوٹ بولنے والے نہ تھے ، انہوں نے کہا : رسول اللہ ﷺ جب سمع الله لمن حمدہ کہتے تو ہم میں سے کوئی ایک بھی اس وقت تک اپنی پشت نہ جھکاتا جب تک رسول اللہﷺ سجدے میں نہ چلے جاتے ، پھر ہم آپ کے بعد سجدے میں جاتے

Al-Bara' reported: They (the Companions) said prayer with the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ), and they bowed when he (the Holy Prophet) bowed. and when he raised his head after bowing, he pronounced: Allah listened to him who praised Him, and we kept standing till we saw him placing his face on the ground and then we followed him.

Amr b. Huraith reported: I said the dawn prayer behind the Apostle of ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) and heard him reciting: 'Nay. I call to witness the stars, running their courses and setting (al-Qur'an, lxxxi. 15-16) and Done of us bent his back till he completed prostration.

O Allah! our Lord! unto Thee be praise that would fill the heavens and the earth and fill that which will please Thee besides them.

Abdullah b. Aufa reported: The Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) used to recite this supplication: O Allah! our Lord, unto Thee be praise that would fill the heavens and the earth and fill that which will please Thee besides them.

Abdullah b. Abu Aufa reported that the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) used to recite (this supplication): O Allah! our Lord, unto Thee be praise that would fill the heavens and the earth and fill that which will please Thee besides (them). O Allah! purify me with snow, (water of) hail and with cold water; O Allah. cleanse me from the sins and errors just as a white garment is cleansed from dirt.
