Narrated Anas bin Malik: The Prophet used to offer the prayer earlier if it was very cold; and if it was very hot he used to delay the prayer, i.e. the Jumua prayer.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْمُقَدَّمِيّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَرَمِيُّ بْنُ عُمَارَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَلْدَةَ هُوَ خَالِدُ بْنُ دِينَارٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ، يَقُولُ : كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا اشْتَدَّ الْبَرْدُ بَكَّرَ بِالصَّلَاةِ ، وَإِذَا اشْتَدَّ الْحَرُّ أَبْرَدَ بِالصَّلَاةِ يَعْنِي الْجُمُعَةَ ، قَالَ يُونُسُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ : أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَلْدَةَ ، فَقَالَ : بِالصَّلَاةِ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرِ الْجُمُعَةَ ، وَقَالَ بِشْرُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَلْدَةَ ، قَالَ : صَلَّى بِنَا أَمِيرٌ الْجُمُعَةَ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ لِأَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ : كَيْفَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي الظُّهْرَ ؟ .

ہم سے محمد بن ابی بکر مقدمی نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم سے حرمی بن عمارہ نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم سے ابوخلدہ جن کا نام خالد بن دینار ہے، نے بیان کیا کہ میں نے انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا، آپ نے فرمایا کہ اگر سردی زیادہ پڑتی تو نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نماز سویرے پڑھ لیتے۔ لیکن جب گرمی زیادہ ہوتی تو ٹھنڈے وقت نماز پڑھتے۔ آپ کی مراد جمعہ کی نماز سے تھی۔ یونس بن بکیر نے کہا کہ ہمیں ابوخلدہ نے خبر دی۔ انہوں نے صرف نماز کہا۔ جمعہ کا ذکر نہیں کیا اور بشر بن ثابت نے کہا کہ ہم سے ابوخلدہ نے بیان کیا کہ امیر نے ہمیں جمعہ کی نماز پڑھائی۔ پھر انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے پوچھا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ظہر کی نماز کس وقت پڑھتے تھے؟

Narrated Abu `Abs: I heard the Prophet saying, Anyone whose feet are covered with dust in Allah's cause, shall be saved by Allah from the Hell-Fire.

Narrated Abu Huraira: heard Allah's Apostles (p.b.u.h) saying, If the prayer is started do not run for it but just walk for it calmly and pray whatever you get, and complete whatever is missed.

Narrated `Abdullah bin Abi Qatada on the authority of his father: The Prophet (p.b.u.h) said, Do not stand up (for prayer) unless you see me, and observe calmness and solemnity .

Narrated Salman Al-Farsi: Allah's Apostle (p.b.u.h) said, Anyone who takes a bath on Friday and cleans himself as much as he can and puts oil (on his hair) or scents himself; and then proceeds for the prayer and does not force his way between two persons (assembled in the mosque for the Friday prayer), and prays as much as is written for him and remains quiet when the Imam delivers the Khutba, all his sins in between the present and the last Friday will be forgiven.

Narrated Ibn Juraij: I heard Nazi' saying, Ibn `Umar, said, 'The Prophet forbade that a man should make another man to get up to sit in his place' . I said to Nafi`, 'Is it for Jumua prayer only?' He replied, For Jumua prayer and any other (prayer).

Narrated As-Saib bin Yazid: In the lifetime of the Prophet, Abu Bakr and `Umar, the Adhan for the Jumua prayer used to be pronounced when the Imam sat on the pulpit. But during the Caliphate of `Uthman when the Muslims increased in number, a third Adhan at Az-Zaura' was added. Abu `Abdullah said, Az-Zaura' is a place in the market of Medina.
