Translation

Arabic, english and urdu

Narrated `Abdullah bin `Amr: The Prophet said, A Muslim is the one who avoids harming Muslims with his tongue or his hands. And a Muhajir (an emigrant) is the one who gives up (abandons) all what Allah has forbidden.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّاءُ ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو ، يَقُولُ : قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : الْمُسْلِمُ مَنْ سَلِمَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ مِنْ لِسَانِهِ وَيَدِهِ ، وَالْمُهَاجِرُ مَنْ هَجَرَ مَا نَهَى اللَّهُ عَنْهُ .

ہم سے ابونعیم نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے زکریا نے بیان کیا، ان سے عامر نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے سنا، کہا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”مسلمان وہ ہے جو مسلمانوں کو اپنی زبان اور ہاتھ سے ( تکلیف پہنچنے سے ) محفوظ رکھے اور مہاجر وہ ہے جو ان چیزوں سے رک جائے جس سے اللہ نے منع کیا ہے۔“
