Narrated `Aisha: The Prophet continued for such-and-such period imagining that he has slept (had sexual relations) with his wives, and in fact he did not. One day he said, to me, O `Aisha! Allah has instructed me regarding a matter about which I had asked Him. There came to me two men, one of them sat near my feet and the other near my head. The one near my feet, asked the one near my head (pointing at me), 'What is wrong with this man? The latter replied, 'He is under the effect of magic.' The first one asked, 'Who had worked magic on him?' The other replied, 'Lubaid bin Asam.' The first one asked, 'What material (did he use)?' The other replied, 'The skin of the pollen of a male date tree with a comb and the hair stuck to it, kept under a stone in the well of Dharwan. ' Then the Prophet went to that well and said, This is the same well which was shown to me in the dream. The tops of its date-palm trees look like the heads of the devils, and its water looks like the Henna infusion. Then the Prophet ordered that those things be taken out. I said, O Allah's Apostle! Won't you disclose (the magic object)? The Prophet said, Allah has cured me and I hate to circulate the evil among the people. `Aisha added, (The magician) Lubaid bin Asam was a man from Bani Zuraiq, an ally of the Jews.

حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، قَالَتْ : مَكَثَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَذَا وَكَذَا يُخَيَّلُ إِلَيْهِ أَنَّهُ يَأْتِي أَهْلَهُ وَلَا يَأْتِي ، قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ : فَقَالَ لِي ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ : يَا عَائِشَةُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ أَفْتَانِي فِي أَمْرٍ اسْتَفْتَيْتُهُ فِيهِ ، أَتَانِي رَجُلَانِ فَجَلَسَ أَحَدُهُمَا عِنْدَ رِجْلَيَّ وَالْآخَرُ عِنْدَ رَأْسِي ، فَقَالَ الَّذِي عِنْدَ رِجْلَيَّ لِلَّذِي عِنْدَ رَأْسِي ، مَا بَالُ الرَّجُلِ قَالَ : مَطْبُوبٌ ، يَعْنِي مَسْحُورًا قَالَ : وَمَنْ طَبَّهُ ؟ قَالَ : لَبِيدُ بْنُ أَعْصَمَ قَالَ : وَفِيمَ ؟ قَالَ : فِي جُفِّ طَلْعَةٍ ذَكَرٍ فِي مُشْطٍ وَمُشَاقَةٍ تَحْتَ رَعُوفَةٍ فِي بِئْرِ ذَرْوَانَ ، فَجَاءَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : هَذِهِ الْبِئْرُ الَّتِي أُرِيتُهَا كَأَنَّ رُءُوسَ نَخْلِهَا رُءُوسُ الشَّيَاطِينِ وَكَأَنَّ مَاءَهَا نُقَاعَةُ الْحِنَّاءِ ، فَأَمَرَ بِهِ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأُخْرِجَ ، قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ : فَقُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، فَهَلَّا تَعْنِي تَنَشَّرْتَ ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : أَمَّا اللَّهُ فَقَدْ شَفَانِي ، وَأَمَّا أَنَا فَأَكْرَهُ أَنْ أُثِيرَ عَلَى النَّاسِ شَرًّا قَالَتْ : وَلَبِيدُ بْنُ أَعْصَمَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَنِي زُرَيْقٍ حَلِيفٌ لِيَهُودَ .

ہم سے عبداللہ بن زبیر حمیدی نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے سفیان بن عیینہ نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے ہشام بن عروہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے ان کے والد نے اور ان سے عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اتنے اتنے دنوں تک اس حال میں رہے کہ آپ کو خیال ہوتا تھا کہ جیسے آپ اپنی بیوی کے پاس جا رہے ہیں حالانکہ ایسا نہیں تھا۔ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے بیان کیا کہ پھر نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھ سے ایک دن فرمایا، عائشہ! میں نے اللہ تعالیٰ سے ایک معاملہ میں سوال کیا تھا اور اس نے وہ بات مجھے بتلا دی، دو فرشتے میرے پاس آئے، ایک میرے پاؤں کے پاس بیٹھ گیا اور دوسرا سر کے پاس بیٹھ گیا۔ اس نے اس سے کہا کہ جو میرے سر کے پاس تھا ان صاحب ( نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) کا کیا حال ہے؟ دوسرے نے جواب دیا کہ ان پر جادو کر دیا گیا ہے۔ پوچھا، کس نے ان پر جادو کیا ہے؟ جواب دیا کہ لبید بن اعصم نے، پوچھا، کس چیز میں کیا ہے، جواب دیا کہ نر کھجور کے خوشہ کے غلاف میں، اس کے اندر کنگھی ہے اور کتان کے تار ہیں۔ اور یہ ذروان کے کنویں میں ایک چٹان کے نیچے دبا دیا ہے۔ اس کے بعد نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم تشریف لے گئے اور فرمایا کہ یہی وہ کنواں ہے جو مجھے خواب میں دکھلایا گیا تھا۔ اس کے باغ کے درختوں کے پتے سانپوں کے پھن جیسے ڈراؤنے معلوم ہوتے ہیں اور اس کا پانی مہندی کے نچوڑے ہوئے پانی کی طرح سرخ تھا۔ پھر نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے حکم سے وہ جادو نکالا گیا۔ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے بیان کیا کہ میں نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! پھر کیوں نہیں، ان کی مراد یہ تھی کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس واقعہ کو شہرت کیوں نہ دی۔ اس پر نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ مجھے اللہ نے شفاء دے دی ہے اور میں ان لوگوں میں خواہ مخواہ برائی کے پھیلانے کو پسند نہیں کرتا۔ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے بیان کیا کہ لبید بن اعصم یہود کے حلیف بنی زریق سے تعلق رکھتا تھا۔

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, Beware of suspicion, for suspicion is the worst of false tales; and do not look for the others' faults and do not spy, and do not be jealous of one another, and do not desert (cut your relation with) one another, and do not hate one another; and O Allah's worshipers! Be brothers (as Allah has ordered you! )

Narrated Anas bin Malik: Allah's Apostle said, Do not hate one another, and do not be jealous of one another, and do not desert each other, and O, Allah's worshipers! Be brothers. Lo! It is not permissible for any Muslim to desert (not talk to) his brother (Muslim) for more than three days.

Narrated `Aisha: The Prophet said, I do not think that so-and-so and so-and-so know anything of our religion. (And Al-Laith said, These two persons were among the hypocrites. )

Narrated Abu Huraira: I heard Allah's Apostle saying. All the sins of my followers will be forgiven except those of the Mujahirin (those who commit a sin openly or disclose their sins to the people). An example of such disclosure is that a person commits a sin at night and though Allah screens it from the public, then he comes in the morning, and says, 'O so-and-so, I did such-and-such (evil) deed yesterday,' though he spent his night screened by his Lord (none knowing about his sin) and in the morning he removes Allah's screen from himself.
