Narrated Anas: It is the Prophet's tradition that if someone marries a virgin and he has already a matron wife then he should stay for seven days with her (the virgin) and then by turns; and if someone marries a matron and he has already a virgin wife then he should stay with her (the matron) for three days, and then by turns.
حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ رَاشِدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ ، وَخَالِدٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، قَالَ : مِنَ السُّنَّةِ : إِذَا تَزَوَّجَ الرَّجُلُ الْبِكْرَ عَلَى الثَّيِّبِ أَقَامَ عِنْدَهَا سَبْعًا ، وَقَسَمَ وَإِذَا تَزَوَّجَ الثَّيِّبَ عَلَى الْبِكْرِ أَقَامَ عِنْدَهَا ثَلَاثًا ، ثُمَّ قَسَمَ . قَالَ أَبُو قِلَابَةَ : وَلَوْ شِئْتُ لَقُلْتُ : إِنَّ أَنَسًا رَفَعَهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَقَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ : أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، وَخَالِدٍ ، قَالَ خَالِدٌ : وَلَوْ شِئْتُ ، قُلْتُ : رَفَعَهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .
ہم سے یوسف بن راشد نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے ابواسامہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے سفیان ثوری نے، کہا ہم سے ایوب اور خالد نے دونوں نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابوقلابہ نے اور ان سے انس رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ دستور یہ کہ   جب کوئی شخص پہلے سے شادی شدہ بیوی کی موجودگی میں کسی کنواری عورت سے شادی کرے تو اس کے ساتھ سات دن تک قیام کرے اور پھر باری مقرر کرے اور جب کسی کنواری بیوی کی موجودگی میں پہلے سے شادی شدہ عورت سے نکاح کرے تو اس کے ساتھ تین دن تک قیام کرے اور پھر باری مقرر کرے۔ ابوقلابہ نے بیان کیا کہ اگر میں چاہوں تو کہہ سکتا ہوں کہ انس رضی اللہ عنہ نے یہ حدیث نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے مرفوعاً بیان کی ہے۔ اور عبدالرزاق نے بیان کیا، انہیں سفیان نے خبر دی، انہیں ایوب اور خالد نے کہا کہ اگر میں چاہوں تو کہہ سکتا ہوں کہ انس رضی اللہ عنہ نے یہ حدیث نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے مرفوعاً بیان کی ہے۔

Narrated `Aisha: that during his fatal ailment, Allah's Apostle, used to ask his wives, Where shall I stay tomorrow? Where shall I stay tomorrow? He was looking forward to Aisha's turn. So all his wives allowed him to stay where he wished, and he stayed at `Aisha's house till he died there. `Aisha added: He died on the day of my usual turn at my house. Allah took him unto Him while his head was between my chest and my neck and his saliva was mixed with my saliva.

Narrated Ibn `Abbas: that `Umar entered upon Hafsa and said, O my daughter! Do not be misled by the manners of her who is proud of her beauty because of the love of Allah's Apostle for her. By 'her' he meant `Aisha. `Umar added, Then I told that to Allah's Apostle and he smiled (on hearing that).
