Narrated Ibn `Abbas: The believers who failed to join the Ghazwa of Badr and those who took part in it are not equal (in reward).
حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ ، أَنَّ ابْنَ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَهُمْ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الْكَرِيمِ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ مِقْسَمًا مَوْلَى عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَهُ يَقُولُ : لا يَسْتَوِي الْقَاعِدُونَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ سورة النساء آية 95 عَنْ بَدْرٍ وَالْخَارِجُونَ إِلَى بَدْرٍ .
ہم سے ابراہیم بن موسیٰ نے بیان کیا، ہم کو ہشام نے خبر دی، انہیں ابن جریج نے خبر دی، کہا کہ مجھے عبدالکریم نے خبر دی، انہوں نے عبداللہ بن حارث کے مولیٰ مقسم سے سنا، وہ ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے بیان کرتے تھے، انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ   ( سورۃ نساء کی اس آیت سے ) «لا يستوي القاعدون من المؤمنين‏» جہاد میں شرکت کرنے والے اور اس میں شریک نہ ہونے والے برابر نہیں ہو سکتے۔ وہ لوگ مراد ہیں جو بدر کی لڑائی میں شریک ہوئے اور جو اس میں شریک نہیں ہوئے۔
