Translation

Arabic, english and urdu

Narrated Al-Bara: I saw the Prophet carrying Al-Hasan on his shoulder an saying, O Allah! I love him, so please love him.

حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي عَدِيٌّ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ الْبَرَاءَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَالْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ عَلَى عَاتِقِهِ ، يَقُولُ : اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أُحِبُّهُ فَأَحِبَّهُ .

ہم سے حجاج بن منہال نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے شعبہ نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ مجھے عدی نے خبر دی، کہا کہ میں نے براء رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا، انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو دیکھا کہ حسن رضی اللہ عنہ آپ کے کاندھے مبارک پر تھے اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم یہ فرما رہے تھے ”اے اللہ! مجھے اس سے محبت ہے تو بھی اس سے محبت رکھ۔“

Narrated `Uqba bin Al-Harith: I saw Abu Bakr carrying Al-Hasan and saying, Let my father be sacrificed for you; you resemble the Prophet and not `Ali, while `Ali was laughing at this.

Narrated Ibn Abi Nu'm: A person asked `Abdullah bin `Umar whether a Muslim could kill flies. I heard him saying (in reply). The people of Iraq are asking about the killing of flies while they themselves murdered the son of the daughter of Allah's Apostle . The Prophet said, They (i.e. Hasan and Husain) are my two sweet basils in this world.

Narrated Jabir bin `Abdullah: `Umar used to say, Abu Bakr is our chief, and he manumitted our chief, meaning Bilal.
