Narrated `Abdullah: While the Prophet was in the state of prostration, surrounded by a group of people from Quraish pagans. `Uqba bin Abi Mu'ait came and brought the intestines of a camel and threw them on the back of the Prophet . The Prophet did not raise his head from prostration till Fatima (i.e. his daughter) came and removed those intestines from his back, and invoked evil on whoever had done (the evil deed). The Prophet said, O Allah! Destroy the chiefs of Quraish, O Allah! Destroy Abu Jahl bin Hisham, `Utba bin Rabi`a, Shaiba bin Rabi`a, `Uqba bin Abi Mu'ait, Umaiya bin Khalaf (or Ubai bin Kalaf). Later on I saw all of them killed during the battle of Badr and their bodies were thrown into a well except the body of Umaiya or Ubai, because he was a fat person, and when he was pulled, the parts of his body got separated before he was thrown into the well.

4 حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : بَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَاجِدٌ وَحَوْلَهُ نَاسٌ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ إِذْ جَاءَ عُقْبَةُ بْنُ أَبِي مُعَيْطٍ بِسَلَى جَزُورٍ فَقَذَفَهُ عَلَى ظَهْرِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَمْ يَرْفَعْ رَأْسَهُ حَتَّى جَاءَتْ فَاطِمَةُ عَلَيْهَا السَّلَام فَأَخَذَتْ مِنْ ظَهْرِهِ وَدَعَتْ عَلَى مَنْ صَنَعَ ذَلِكَ ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : اللَّهُمَّ عَلَيْكَ الْمَلَا مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ ، اللَّهُمَّ عَلَيْكَ أَبَا جَهْلِ بْنَ هِشَامٍ وَعُتْبَةَ بْنَ رَبِيعَةَ وَشَيْبَةَ بْنَ رَبِيعَةَ وَعُقْبَةَ بْنَ أَبِي مُعَيْطٍ وَأُمَيَّةَ بْنَ خَلَفٍ أَوْ أُبَيَّ بْنَ خَلَفٍ ، فَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُهُمْ قُتِلُوا يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ فَأُلْقُوا فِي بِئْرٍ غَيْرَ أُمَيَّةَ أَوْ أُبَيٍّ ، فَإِنَّهُ كَانَ رَجُلًا ضَخْمًا فَلَمَّا جَرُّوهُ تَقَطَّعَتْ أَوْصَالُهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُلْقَى فِي الْبِئْرِ .

ہم سے عبدان بن عثمان نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ مجھے میرے باپ نے خبر دی، انہیں شعبہ نے، انہیں ابواسحاق نے، انہیں عمرو بن میمون نے اور ان سے عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ مکہ میں ( شروع اسلام کے زمانہ میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سجدہ کی حالت میں تھے اور قریب ہی قریش کے کچھ لوگ بیٹھے ہوئے تھے۔ پھر عقبہ بن ابی معیط اونٹ کی اوجھڑی لایا اور نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی پیٹھ پر اسے ڈال دیا۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سجدہ سے اپنا سر نہ اٹھا سکے۔ آخر فاطمہ رضی اللہ عنہا آئیں اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی پیٹھ پر سے اس اوجھڑی کو ہٹایا اور جس نے یہ حرکت کی تھی اسے برا بھلا کہا، نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے بھی بددعا کی کہ اے اللہ! قریش کی اس جماعت کو پکڑ۔ اے اللہ! ابوجہل بن ہشام، عتبہ بن ربیعہ، شیبہ بن ربیعہ، عقبہ بن ابی معیط، امیہ بن خلف یا ابی بن خلف کو برباد کر۔ پھر میں نے دیکھا کہ یہ سب بدر کی لڑائی میں قتل کر دئیے گئے۔ اور ایک کنویں میں انہیں ڈال دیا گیا تھا۔ سوا امیہ یا ابی کے کہ یہ شخص بہت بھاری بھر کم تھا۔ جب اسے صحابہ نے کھینچا تو کنویں میں ڈالنے سے پہلے ہی اس کے جوڑ جوڑ الگ ہو گئے۔

Narrated Anas: The Prophet said, ''Every betrayer will have a flag on the Day of Resurrection One of the two subnarrators said that the flag would be fixed, and the other said that it would be shown on the Day of Resurrection, so that the betrayer might be recognized by it.

Narrated Ibn `Umar: The Prophet said, Every betrayer will have a flag which will be fixed on the Day of Resurrection, and the flag's prominence will be made in order to show the betrayal he committed.

Narrated Ibn `Abbas: Allah's Apostle said on the day of the conquest of Mecca, There is no migration now, but there is Jihad (i.e.. holy battle) and good intentions. And when you are called for Jihad, you should come out at once Allah's Apostle also said, on the day of the conquest of Mecca, Allah has made this town a sanctuary since the day He created the Heavens and the Earth. So, it is a sanctuary by Allah's Decree till the Day of Resurrection. Fighting in it was not legal for anyone before me, and it was made legal for me only for an hour by daytime. So, it (i.e. Mecca) is a sanctuary by Allah's Decree till the Day of Resurrection. Its thorny bushes should not be cut, and its game should not be chased, its fallen property (i.e. Luqata) should not be picked up except by one who will announce it publicly; and its grass should not be uprooted, On that Al-`Abbas said, O Allah's Apostle! Except the Idhkhir, because it is used by the goldsmiths and by the people for their houses. On that the Prophet said, Except the Idhkhir.

Narrated `Imran bin Husain: Some people of Bani Tamim came to the Prophet and he said (to them), O Bani Tamim! rejoice with glad tidings. They said, You have given us glad tidings, now give us something. On hearing that the color of his face changed then the people of Yemen came to him and he said, O people of Yemen ! Accept the good tidings, as Bani Tamim has refused them. The Yemenites said, We accept them. Then the Prophet started taking about the beginning of creation and about Allah's Throne. In the mean time a man came saying, O `Imran! Your she-camel has run away!'' (I got up and went away), but l wish I had not left that place (for I missed what Allah's Apostle had said).

Narrated Imran bin Husain: I went to the Prophet and tied my she-camel at the gate. The people of Bani Tamim came to the Prophet who said O Bani Tamim! Accept the good tidings. They said twice, 'You have given us the good tidings, now give us something Then some Yemenites came to him and he said, Accept the good tidings, O people of Yemem, for Bani Tamim refused them. They said, We accept it, O Allah's Apostle! We have come to ask you about this matter (i.e. the start of creations). He said, First of all, there was nothing but Allah, and (then He created His Throne). His throne was over the water, and He wrote everything in the Book (in the Heaven) and created the Heavens and the Earth. Then a man shouted, O Ibn Husain! Your she-camel has gone away! So, I went away and could not see the she-camel because of the mirage. By Allah, I wished I had left that she-camel (but not that gathering).
