Narrated Abu Mas`ud Al-Ansari: Allah's Apostle regarded illegal the price of a dog, the earnings of a prostitute, and the charges taken by a soothsayer.

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّرَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ ثَمَنِ الْكَلْبِ ، وَمَهْرِ الْبَغِيِّ ، وَحُلْوَانِ الْكَاهِنِ .

ہم سے قتیبہ بن سعید نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم سے امام مالک نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابن شہاب نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابوبکر بن عبدالرحمٰن بن حارث بن ہشام نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابومسعود انصاری رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کتے کی قیمت، زانیہ ( کے زنا ) کی خرچی اور کاہن کی مزدوری سے منع فرمایا۔
