Narrated Abu Huraira: I heard the Prophet saying, None of you should fast on Friday unless he fasts a day before or after it.
حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصِ بْنِ غِيَاثٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : لَا يَصُومَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ ، إِلَّا يَوْمًا قَبْلَهُ أَوْ بَعْدَهُ .
ہم سے عمر بن حفص بن غیاث نے بیان کیا، کہا مجھ سے میرے باپ نے بیان کیا، ان سے اعمش نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابوصالح نے بیان کیا اور ان سے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ   میں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سنا، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ کوئی بھی شخص جمعہ کے دن اس وقت تک روزہ نہ رکھے جب تک اس سے ایک دن پہلے یا اس کے ایک بعد روزہ نہ رکھتا ہو۔

Narrated Abu Aiyub from Juwairiya bint Al-Harith: The Prophet visited her (Juwairiya) on a Friday and she was fasting. He asked her, Did you fast yesterday? She said, No. He said, Do you intend to fast tomorrow? She said, No. He said, Then break your fast. Through another series of narrators, Abu Aiyub is reported to have said, He ordered her and she broke her fast.

So, I sent to him a bowl full of milk while he was riding over his camel and he drank it.
