Narrated Ibn `Umar: Hafsa said, O Allah's Apostle! What is wrong with the people; they finished their Ihram after performing `Umra, but you have not finished it after your `Umra? He replied, I matted my hair and have garlanded my Hadi. So, I cannot finish my Ihram till I slaughter (my Hadi).

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، مَا شَأْنُ النَّاسِ حَلُّوا بِعُمْرَةٍ ، وَلَمْ تَحْلِلْ أَنْتَ مِنْ عُمْرَتِكَ ؟ قَالَ : إِنِّي لَبَّدْتُ رَأْسِي ، وَقَلَّدْتُ هَدْيِي ، فَلَا أَحِلُّ حَتَّى أَنْحَرَ .

ہم سے عبداللہ بن یوسف نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم کو امام مالک نے خبر دی، انہیں نافع نے، انہیں ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہ حفصہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے عرض کی یا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کیا وجہ ہوئی کہ اور لوگ تو عمرہ کر کے حلال ہو گئے اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے عمرہ کر لیا اور حلال نہ ہوئے؟ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ میں نے اپنے سر کے بال جما لیے تھے اور قربانی کے گلے میں قلادہ پہنا کر میں ( اپنے ساتھ ) لایا ہوں، اس لیے جب تک میں نحر نہ کر لوں گا میں احرام نہیں کھولوں گا۔

Narrated Ibn `Umar: Allah's Apostle (p.b.u.h) (got) his head shaved after performing his Hajj.

Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar: Allah's Apostle said, O Allah! Be merciful to those who have their head shaved. The people said, O Allah's Apostle! And (invoke Allah for) those who get their hair cut short. The Prophet said, O Allah! Be merciful to those who have their head shaved. The people said, O Allah's Apostle! And those who get their hair cut short. The Prophet said (the third time), And to those who get their hair cut short. Nafi` said that the Prophet had said once or twice, O Allah! Be merciful to those who get their head shaved, and on the fourth time he added, And to those who have their hair cut short.

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, O Allah! Forgive those who get their heads shaved. The people asked. Also those who get their hair cut short? The Prophet said, O Allah! Forgive those who have their heads shaved. The people said, Also those who get their hair cut short? The Prophet (invoke Allah for those who have their heads shaved and) at the third time said, also (forgive) those who get their hair cut short.
