Narrated `Aisha: The Prophet said to his wives, You are allowed to go out to answer the call of nature.
حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّاءُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : قَدْ أُذِنَ أَنْ تَخْرُجْنَ فِي حَاجَتِكُنَّ ، قَالَ هِشَامٌ : يَعْنِي الْبَرَازَ .
ہم سے زکریا نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے ابواسامہ نے ہشام بن عروہ کے واسطے سے بیان کیا، وہ اپنے باپ سے، وہ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے، وہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے نقل کرتی ہیں کہ   آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ( اپنی بیویوں سے ) فرمایا کہ تمہیں قضاء حاجت کے لیے باہر نکلنے کی اجازت ہے۔ ہشام کہتے ہیں کہ حاجت سے مراد پاخانے کے لیے ( باہر ) جانا ہے۔

Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar: I went up to the roof of Hafsa's house for some job and I saw Allah's Apostle answering the call of nature facing Sham (Syria, Jordan, Palestine and Lebanon regarded as one country) with his back towards the Qibla. (See Hadith No. 147).
