Translation

Narrated 'Amir: Ibn `Abbas (who was at that time a boy) said, Allah's Apostle came to a grave and the people said, 'He or she was buried yesterday.' Ibn `Abbas added, We aligned behind the Prophet and he led the funeral prayer of the deceased.

حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ , حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ , حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ , حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ , عَنْ عَامِرٍ , عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا , قَالَ : أَتَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَبْرًا , فَقَالُوا : هَذَا دُفِنَ أَوْ دُفِنَتِ الْبَارِحَةَ , قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا : فَصَفَّنَا خَلْفَهُ ثُمَّ صَلَّى عَلَيْهَا .

ہم سے یعقوب بن ابراہیم نے بیان کیا ‘ انہوں نے کہا ہم سے یحییٰ بن ابی بکیر نے ‘ انہوں نے کہا ہم سے زائدہ نے بیان کیا ‘ ان سے ابواسحاق شیبانی نے ‘ ان سے عامر نے ‘ ان سے ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ایک قبر پر تشریف لائے۔ صحابہ نے عرض کیا کہ اس میت کو گزشتہ رات دفن کیا گیا ہے۔ ( صاحب قبر مرد تھا یا عورت تھی ) ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہا کہ پھر ہم نے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پیچھے صف بندی کی اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے نماز جنازہ پڑھائی۔

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle informed about the news of the death of An-Najash (King of Ethiopia) on the day he expired. He said, Ask Allah's forgiveness for your brother.

Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar: The Jew brought to the Prophet a man and a woman from amongst them who have committed (adultery) illegal sexual intercourse. He ordered both of them to be stoned (to death), near the place of offering the funeral prayers beside the mosque.

Narrated `Urwa: Aisha said, The Prophet in his fatal illness said, 'Allah cursed the Jews and the Christians because they took the graves of their Prophets as places for praying. ' Aisha added, Had it not been for that, the grave of the Prophet (p.b.u.h) would have been made prominent but I am afraid it might be taken (as a) place for praying.
