حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا فُلَيْحُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَحْوَهُ. قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْأَكْوَعِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَجَابِرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ الْعَوَّامِ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ حَدِيثُ أَنَسٍ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ. وَهُوَ الَّذِي أَجْمَعَ عَلَيْهِ أَكْثَرُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ:‏‏‏‏ أَنَّ وَقْتَ الْجُمُعَةِ إِذَا زَالَتِ الشَّمْسُ كَوَقْتِ الظُّهْرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهُوَ قَوْلُ:‏‏‏‏ الشَّافِعِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَحْمَدَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَإِسْحَاق. وَرَأَى بَعْضُهُمْ أَنَّ صَلَاةَ الْجُمُعَةِ إِذَا صُلِّيَتْ قَبْلَ الزَّوَالِ أَنَّهَا تَجُوزُ أَيْضًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وقَالَ أَحْمَدُ:‏‏‏‏ وَمَنْ صَلَّاهَا قَبْلَ الزَّوَالِ فَإِنَّهُ لَمْ يَرَ عَلَيْهِ إِعَادَةً.

اس سند سے بھی انس رضی الله عنہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے اسی طرح روایت کرتے ہیں۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- انس رضی الله عنہ کی حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں سلمہ بن الاکوع، جابر اور زبیر بن عوام رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں، ۳- اور اسی پر اکثر اہل علم کا اجماع ہے کہ جمعہ کا وقت ظہر کے وقت کی طرح اس وقت شروع ہوتا ہے جب سورج ڈھل جائے، یہی شافعی، احمد اور اسحاق بن راہویہ کا بھی قول ہے، ۴- اور بعض کی رائے ہے کہ جمعہ کی نماز جب زوال سے پہلے پڑھ لی جائے تو جائز ہے۔ احمد کہتے ہیں: جس نے جمعہ کی نماز زوال سے پہلے پڑھ لی تو اس پر دہرانا ضروری نہیں۔

Ibn Umar narrated: The Prophet would give the Khutbah next to the trunk of a date palm. When he [the Prophet] began using the Minbar the trunk cried out for him until he came to it and held it, so it became quiet.

Ibn Umar narrated: The Prophet would give a Khutbah on Friday, then sit, then stand and give (another) Khutbah. He said: Similar to what they do today.
