Abu Hurairah narrated that : Allah's Messenger said: Whoever sends Salat upon me, Allah sends Salat upon him ten times.

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَيَّ صَلَاةً صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ بِهَا عَشْرًا قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ،‏‏‏‏ وَعَامِرِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ،‏‏‏‏ وَعَمَّارٍ،‏‏‏‏ وَأَبِي طَلْحَةَ،‏‏‏‏ وَأَنَسٍ،‏‏‏‏ وَأُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ حَدِيثُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَرُوِي عَنْ سفيان الثوري وَغَيْرِ وَاحِدٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالُوا:‏‏‏‏ صَلَاةُ الرَّبِّ الرَّحْمَةُ وَصَلَاةُ الْمَلَائِكَةِ الِاسْتِغْفَارُ.

ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جو مجھ پر ایک بار صلاۃ ( درود ) بھیجے گا، اللہ اس کے بدلے اس پر دس بار صلاۃ ( درود ) بھیجے گا“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کی حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں عبدالرحمٰن بن عوف، عامر بن ربیعہ، عمار، ابوطلحہ، انس اور ابی بن کعب رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں، ۳- سفیان ثوری اور دیگر کئی اہل علم سے مروی ہے کہ رب کے صلاۃ ( درود ) سے مراد اس کی رحمت ہے اور فرشتوں کے صلاۃ ( درود ) سے مراد استغفار ہے۔

Umar bin Al-Khattab narrated: Indeed the supplication stops between the heavens and the earth. Nothing of it is raised up until you send Salat upon your Prophet.

Umar bin Al-Khattab [may Allah be pleased with him] said: No one should sell in our markets except one who has understanding in the religion.

Abu Hurairah narrated that: the Prophet said: The best day that the sun has risen upon is Friday. On it Adam was created, on it he entered Paradise, and on it, he was expelled from it. And the Hour will not be established except on Friday.

Anas bin Malik narrated that : the Prophet said: Seek out the hour that is hoped for on Friday after Asr until the sun has set.

Kathir bin Abdullah bin Amr bin Awf Al-Muzani narrated from his father, from his grandfather, that : the Prophet said: On Friday there is an hour in which the worshipper does not ask Allah for anything except that Allah grants it to him. They said: O Messenger of Allah! Which hour is it? He said: When the prayer is begun until it is finished.

Abu Hurairah narrated: Allah's Messenger said: The best day that the sun has risen upon is Friday. On it Adam was created, on it he entered Paradise, and on it, he was sent down from it. And in it there is an hour in which the Muslim worshipper would not stand in Salat, asking Allah for anything except that He would give it to him.' Abu Hurairah said: I met Abdullah bin Salam, and I mentioned this Hadith to him. He said: 'I am more knowledgeable about that hour.' So I said: 'Inform me about it, and do not keep any of it from me.' He said: 'It is after al-Asr until the sun has set.' I said: 'How can it be after Al-Asr when Allah's Messenger said: ' the Muslim worshipper would not stand in Salat.' And that is a time that prayer is not performed in? So Abdullah bin Salam said: 'Didn't Allah's Messenger say: Whoever sat in a gathering awaiting the Salat then he is in Salat ? I said: 'Of course.' He said: 'Then that is it.'
