Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Adi bin Hamra [Az-Zuhri]: I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) standing at Al-Hazwarah, and he said: By Allah! You are the best of Allah's earth, and the most beloved of Allah's earth to Allah, and if it were not that I was expelled from you I would not have left.

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ عُقَيْلٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَدِيِّ ابْنِ حَمْرَاءَ الزُّهْرِيِّ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَاقِفًا عَلَى الْحَزْوَرَةِ،‏‏‏‏ فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَاللَّهِ إِنَّكِ لَخَيْرُ أَرْضِ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَحَبُّ أَرْضِ اللَّهِ إِلَى اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَوْلَا أَنِّي أُخْرِجْتُ مِنْكِ مَا خَرَجْتُ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَدْ رَوَاهُ يُونُسُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، نَحْوَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَرَوَاهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَحَدِيثُ الزُّهْرِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَدِيِّ ابْنِ حَمْرَاءَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عِنْدِي أَصَحُّ.

عبداللہ بن عدی بن حمراء زہری کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو «حزوراء» ( چھوٹا ٹیلہ ) پر کھڑے دیکھا، آپ نے فرمایا: ”قسم اللہ کی! بلاشبہ تو اللہ کی سر زمین میں سب سے بہتر ہے اور اللہ کی زمینوں میں اللہ کے نزدیک سب سے محبوب سر زمین ہے، اگر مجھے تجھ سے نہ نکالا جاتا تو میں نہ نکلتا“ ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن غریب صحیح ہے، ۲- اسے یونس نے بھی زہری سے اسی طرح روایت کیا ہے، اور اسے محمد بن عمرو نے بطریق: «أبي سلمة عن أبي هريرة عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم» روایت کیا ہے، اور زہری کی حدیث جو بطریق: «أبي سلمة عن عبد الله بن عدي ابن حمراء» آئی ہے وہ میرے نزدیک زیادہ صحیح ہے۔

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said about Makkah: How sweet of a land you are and how dear you are to me, and if it were not that my people expelled me from you, I would not have lived in other than you.

Narrated Salman: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said to me: 'O Salman! Do not detest me and thereby leave your religion.' I said: 'O Messenger of Allah! How could I detest you while Allah guided us by you.' He said: 'You will detest the Arabs and thereby detest me.'

Narrated 'Uthman bin 'Affan: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Whoever cheats the Arabs, he will not be included in my intercession, and my love shall not reach him.

Narrated Muhammad bin Abi Razin: that his mother said: If someone died from the Arabs it would be hard upon Umm Al-Harir so it was said to her: 'We see that if a man from the Arabs dies it is hard upon you.' She said: 'I heard my Mawla say that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: From the (signs of) coming of the Hour is the destruction of the Arabs. Muhammad bin Abi Razin said: And her Mawla was Talhah bin Malik.

Narrated Umm Sharik: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: The people will flee from the Dajjal such that they will go to the mountains. Umm Sharik said: O Messenger of Allah! Where will the Arabs be that day? He said: They will be few.

Narrated Samurah bin Jundab: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Sam was the father of Arabs, Yafith was the father of Romans, and Ham was the father of Ethiopians.
