Narrated Anas bin Malik: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Shall I inform you of the best houses of the Ansar, or of the best of the Ansar? They said: Of course, O Messenger of Allah! He said: Banu An-Najjar. Then those who come after them are Banu 'Abdul-Ashhal. Then those who come after them are Banu Al-Harith bin Al-Khazraj. Then those who come after them are Banu Sa'idah. Then he motioned with his hands, clenching his fingers, then opening them, like an archer does with his hands. He said: And in all of the houses of the Ansar there is good.

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ أَلَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِخَيْرِ دُورِ الْأَنْصَارِ أَوْ بِخَيْرِ الْأَنْصَارِ ؟ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالُوا:‏‏‏‏ بَلَى يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ بَنُو النَّجَّارِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ بَنُو عَبْدِ الْأَشْهَلِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ بَنُو الْحَارِثِ بْنِ الْخَزْرَجِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ بَنُو سَاعِدَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ قَالَ بِيَدِهِ،‏‏‏‏ فَقَبَضَ أَصَابِعَهُ ثُمَّ بَسَطَهُنَّ كَالرَّامِي بِيَدَيْهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي دُورِ الْأَنْصَارِ كُلِّهَا خَيْرٌ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَدْ رُوِيَ هَذَا أَيْضًا عَنْ أَنَسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي أُسَيْدٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.

انس بن مالک کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”کیا میں تمہیں انصار کے بہتر گھروں کی یا انصار کے بہتر لوگوں کی خبر نہ دوں؟ لوگوں نے عرض کیا: کیوں نہیں اللہ کے رسول! آپ نے فرمایا: ”سب سے بہتر بنی نجار ہیں، پھر بنی عبدالاشہل ہیں جو ان سے قریب ہیں، پھر بنی حارث بن خزرج ہیں جو ان سے قریب ہیں، پھر بنی ساعدہ ہیں ۱؎، پھر آپ نے اپنے دونوں ہاتھوں سے اشارہ کیا اور اپنی انگلیوں کو بند کیا، پھر کھولا جیسے کوئی اپنے ہاتھوں سے کچھ پھینک رہا ہو“ اور فرمایا: ”انصار کے سارے گھروں میں خیر ہے ۲؎“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- انس سے بھی آئی ہے جسے وہ ابواسید ساعدی کے واسطہ سے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کرتے ہیں۔

Narrated Abu Usaid As-Sa'idi: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: The Best houses of the Ansar are the houses of Banu An-Najjar, then the house of Banu 'Abdul-Ashhal, then Banu Al-Harith bin Al-Khazraj, then Banu Sa'idah. And in all of the houses of the Ansar there is good. So Sa'd said: I do not see except that the Prophet (ﷺ) has preferred everyone over us. So it was said: He preferred you over many.

Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: The best house of the Ansar is Banu An-Najjar.

Narrated 'Ali bin Abi Talib: We departed with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) until he was at Harrah As-Suqya which belonged to Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas. So the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Bring me water for Wudu.' So he performed Wudu, then he faced the Qiblah and said: 'O Allah! Indeed Ibrahim was Your servant and Your Khalil, and he supplicated for blessings for the people of Makkah. And I am Your servant and Messenger, and I supplicate for the people of Al-Madinah; that You bless them in their Mudd and their Sa' like You blessed the people of Makkah, for each blessing let there be two blessings.

Narrated 'Ali bin Abi Talib and Abu Hurairah: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Whatever is between my house and my Minbar is a garden from the gardens of Paradise.

Narrated Abu Hurairah: that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: What is between my house and my Minbar is a garden from the gardens of Paradise. And with this chain, from the Prophet (ﷺ), that he said: One Salat in this Masjid of mine is better than one thousand prayers in any other Masjid, except for Al-Masjid Al-Haram.
