Narrated 'Abdullah bin Buraidah: from his father, that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: There is no one among my Companions who dies in a land except that he shall be resurrected as a guide and light for them (people of that land) on the Day of Resurrection.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ نَاجِيَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ أَبِي طَيْبَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ مَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِي يَمُوتُ بِأَرْضٍ إِلَّا بُعِثَ قَائِدًا وَنُورًا لَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ وَرُوِيَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ أَبِي طَيْبَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُرْسَلًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهُوَ أَصَحُّ.
بریدہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”میرے صحابہ میں سے جو بھی کسی سر زمین پر مرے گا تو وہ قیامت کے دن اس سر زمین والوں کا پیشوا اور ان کے لیے نور بنا کر اٹھایا جائے گا“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث غریب ہے، ۲- یہ حدیث عبداللہ بن مسلم ابوطیبہ سے مروی ہے اور انہوں نے اسے بریدہ رضی الله عنہ کے بیٹے کے واسطہ سے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے مرسلاً روایت کیا ہے، اور یہ زیادہ صحیح ہے۔

Narrated Al-Miswar bin Makhramah: While he was on the Minbar, I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying: 'Indeed Banu Hisham bin Al-Mughirah asked me if they could marry their daughter to 'Ali bin Abi Talib. But I do not allow it, I do not allow it, I do not allow it - unless 'Ali bin Abi Talib wishes to divorce my daughter and marry their daughter, because she is a part of me.
