Narrated 'Abdullah bin Buraidah: from his father, that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: There is no one among my Companions who dies in a land except that he shall be resurrected as a guide and light for them (people of that land) on the Day of Resurrection.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ نَاجِيَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ أَبِي طَيْبَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ مَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِي يَمُوتُ بِأَرْضٍ إِلَّا بُعِثَ قَائِدًا وَنُورًا لَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ وَرُوِيَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ أَبِي طَيْبَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُرْسَلًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهُوَ أَصَحُّ.

بریدہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”میرے صحابہ میں سے جو بھی کسی سر زمین پر مرے گا تو وہ قیامت کے دن اس سر زمین والوں کا پیشوا اور ان کے لیے نور بنا کر اٹھایا جائے گا“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث غریب ہے، ۲- یہ حدیث عبداللہ بن مسلم ابوطیبہ سے مروی ہے اور انہوں نے اسے بریدہ رضی الله عنہ کے بیٹے کے واسطہ سے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے مرسلاً روایت کیا ہے، اور یہ زیادہ صحیح ہے۔

Narrated Ibn 'Umar: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: If you see those who abuse my Companions, then say: 'May Allah's curse be upon the worst of you.'

Narrated Al-Miswar bin Makhramah: While he was on the Minbar, I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying: 'Indeed Banu Hisham bin Al-Mughirah asked me if they could marry their daughter to 'Ali bin Abi Talib. But I do not allow it, I do not allow it, I do not allow it - unless 'Ali bin Abi Talib wishes to divorce my daughter and marry their daughter, because she is a part of me. I am displeased by what displeases her, and I am harmed by what harms her.

Narrated Buraidah: The most beloved of women to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was Fatimah and from the men was 'Ali.

Narrated 'Abdullah bin Az-Zubair: that 'Ali mentioned the daughter of Jahl (for marriage), and that reached the Prophet (ﷺ) so he said: Indeed Fatimah is but a part of me, I am harmed by what harms her and I am uncomfortable by what makes her uncomfortable.

Narrated Zaid bin Arqam: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said to 'Ali, Fatimah, Al-Hasan and Al-Husain: I am at war with whoever makes war with you, and peace for whoever makes peace with you.

Narrated Umm Salamah: The Prophet (ﷺ) put a garment over Al-Hasan, Al-Hussain, 'Ali and Fatimah, then he said: 'O Allah, these are the people of my house and the close ones, so remove the Rijs from them and purify them thoroughly. So Umm Salamah said: 'And am I with them, O Messenger of Allah?' He said: You are upon good. '
