Anas bin Malik narrated that: Allah's Messenger said: Indeed I hear the crying of a small boy while I am in Salat, so I shorten it in fear that his mother may be tormented.
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ الْفَزَارِيُّ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَاللَّهِ إِنِّي لَأَسْمَعُ بُكَاءَ الصَّبِيِّ وَأَنَا فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَأُخَفِّفُ مَخَافَةَ أَنْ تُفْتَتَنَ أُمُّهُ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ،‏‏‏‏ وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ،‏‏‏‏ وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ حَدِيثُ أَنَسٍ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.
انس بن مالک رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”قسم ہے اللہ کی! جب نماز میں ہوتا ہوں اور اس وقت بچے کا رونا سنتا ہوں تو اس ڈر سے نماز کو ہلکی کر دیتا ہوں کہ اس کی ماں کہیں فتنے میں نہ مبتلا ہو جائے“ ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں ۱- انس رضی الله عنہ کی حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں ابوقتادہ ابوسعید اور ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں۔
