Ibn Umar narrated that: The Messenger of Allah said: “Whoever wishes to look at the Day of Resurrection, as if he is seeing it with this eye, then let him recite: ‘When the sun Kuwwirat’ and ‘When the heaven is cleft sunder (Infatarat) and ‘When the heaven is split asunder.’”
حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّاسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَظِيمِ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بَحِيرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وَهُوَ ابْنُ يَزِيدَ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ، قَال:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ، يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ كَأَنَّهُ رَأْيُ عَيْنٍ فَلْيَقْرَأْ:‏‏‏‏ إِذَا الشَّمْسُ كُوِّرَتْ وَ إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْفَطَرَتْ وَ إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ. هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَرَوَى هِشَامُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ وَغَيْرُهُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ كَأَنَّهُ رَأْيُ عَيْنٍ فَلْيَقْرَأْ:‏‏‏‏ إِذَا الشَّمْسُ كُوِّرَتْ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ وَ إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْفَطَرَتْ وَ إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ.
عبداللہ بن عمر رضی الله عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جسے اچھا لگے کہ وہ قیامت کا دن دیکھے اور اس طرح دیکھے، اس نے آنکھوں سے دیکھا ہے تو اسے چاہیئے کہ «إذا الشمس كورت» اور «إذا السماء انفطرت»،‏‏‏‏ «وإذا السماء انشقت» ۱؎ پڑھے“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن غریب ہے، ۲- ہشام بن یوسف وغیرہ نے یہ حدیث اسی سند سے روایت کی ہے ( اس میں ہے ) آپ نے فرمایا: ”جسے خوشی ہو کہ وہ قیامت کا دن دیکھے، آنکھ سے دیکھنے کی طرح اسے چاہیئے کہ سورۃ «إذا الشمس كورت» پڑھے، ان لوگوں نے اپنی روایتوں میں «إذا السماء انفطرت» اور «وإذا السماء انشقت» کا ذکر نہیں کیا۔

Abu Hurairah narrated that : the Messenger of Allah said: “Verily, when the slave (of Allah) commits a sin, a black spot appears on his heart. When he refrains from it, seeks forgiveness and repents, his heart is polished clean. But if he returns, it increases until it covers his entire heart. And that is the ‘Ran’ which Allah mentioned: Nay, but on their hearts is the Ran which they used to earn.

In it, there is an hour in which no believing worshipper makes a supplication to Allah for good, except that Allah answers it for him, and he does not seek Allah’s aid for something, except that He aids him in it.”
