Narrated Abu Umamah Al-Ansari: from 'Abdullah bin Unais Al-Juhni who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Indeed among the worst of the major sins is Shirk with Allah, disobeying the parents, the false oath, and none insists on taking an oath in which he swears, including the like of a wing of a mosquito (of falsehood) in it - except that a spot is placed in his heart until the Day of Judgement.'

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ مُهَاجِرِ بْنِ قُنْفُذٍ الْتَّيْمِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أُنَيْسٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّ مِنْ أَكْبَرِ الْكَبَائِرِ:‏‏‏‏ الشِّرْكُ بِاللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعُقُوقُ الْوَالِدَيْنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْيَمِينُ الْغَمُوسُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَا حَلَفَ حَالِفٌ بِاللَّهِ يَمِينَ صَبْرٍ فَأَدْخَلَ فِيهَا مِثْلَ جَنَاحِ بَعُوضَةٍ إِلَّا جُعِلَتْ نُكْتَةً فِي قَلْبِهِ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ وَأَبُو أُمَامَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ هُوَ ابْنُ ثَعْلَبَةَ وَلَا نَعْرِفُ اسْمَهُ وَقَدْ رَوَى عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَحَادِيثَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ.

عبداللہ بن انیس جہنی رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”بڑے گناہوں میں سب سے بڑے گناہ یہ ہیں: اللہ تعالیٰ کے ساتھ شرک کرنا، ماں باپ کی نافرمانی کرنا ہے، جھوٹی قسم کھانا۔ تو جس کسی نے بھی ایسی قسم کھائی جس پر وہ مجبور کر دیا گیا اور ( اسی پر فیصلہ کا انحصار ہے ) پھر اس نے اس میں مچھر کے پر کے برابر جھوٹ شامل کر دیا تو اس کے دل میں ایک ( کالا ) نکتہ ڈال دیا جائے گا جو قیامت تک قائم اور باقی رہے گا“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن غریب ہے، ۲- ابوامامہ انصاری ثعلبہ کے بیٹے ہیں اور ان کا نام ہمیں نہیں معلوم ہے، انہوں نے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے حدیثیں روایت کی ہیں۔

Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Amr: that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: The major sins are associating others with Allah, disobeying the parents or he said, the false oath . Shu'bah (a narrator in the chain) was in doubt.

Narrated Mujahid: from Umm Salamah that she said: The men fight and the women do not fight, and we only get half the inheritance.' So Allah, Blessed and Most High, revealed: 'And wish not for things in which Allah has made some of you excell over others... (4:32)' Mujahid said: And the following was revealed about that: 'Verily the Muslim men and the Muslim women... (33:35). And Umm Salamah was the first camel-borne woman to arrive in Al-Madinah as an emigrant.

Narrated 'Amr bin Dinar: from a man among the children of Umm Salamah, from Umm Salamah that she said: O Messenger of Allah! I have not heard Allah mentioning anything about women and emigration. So Allah, Blessed and Most High, revealed: Never will I allow to be lost the work of any of you, be he male or female. You are members one of another (3:195).

Narrated 'Alqamah: 'Abdullah said: 'The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) commanded me to recite for him while he was on the Minbar. So I recited from Surat An-Nisa for him, until I reached: How then (will it be) when We bring from each nation a witness, and We bring you (Muhammad) as a witness against these people? (4:41) The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was beckoning me (to stop) with his hand, and I looked at him and his eyes were flowing with tears.

Narrated Ibrahim: from 'Abidah that 'Abdullah said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said to me: 'Recite for me.' I said: 'O Messenger of Allah! Shall I recite for you while it is to you whom it was revealed?' He said: 'I love to hear it from other than me.' So I recited Surat An-Nisa until I reached: ...And We bring you (Muhammad) as a witness against these people? (4:41) He said: So I saw the eyes of the Prophet (ﷺ) overflowing with tears.

Narrated Abu 'Abdur-Rahman As-Sulami: that 'Ali bin Abi Talib said: 'Abdur-Rahman bin 'Awf prepared some food for which he invited us, and he gave us some wine to drink. The wine began to affect us when it was time for Salat. So they encouraged me (to lead) and I recited: 'Say: O you disbelievers! I do not worship what you worship, and we worship what you worship' - so Allah, Most High, revealed: O you who believe! Do not approach Salat when you are in a drunken state until you know what you are saying (4:43).
