Narrated Abu Dharr: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Jibril came to me and gave me glad tidings, that whoever dies without associating anything with Allah, then he will enter Paradise. I said: Even if he commits adultery and theft? He said: Yes.

حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ، وَعَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ رُفَيْعٍ، وَالْأَعْمَشِ، كُلُّهُمْ سَمِعُوا زَيْدَ بْنَ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَتَانِي جِبْرِيلُ فَبَشَّرَنِي فَأَخْبَرَنِي أَنَّهُ مَنْ مَاتَ لَا يُشْرِكُ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قُلْتُ:‏‏‏‏ وَإِنْ زَنَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَإِنْ سَرَقَ ؟ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ نَعَمْ ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وفي الباب عن أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ.

ابوذر رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”میرے پاس جبرائیل ( علیہ السلام ) آئے اور مجھے بشارت دی کہ جو شخص اس حال میں مر گیا کہ اس نے اللہ کے ساتھ کسی کو شریک نہیں ٹھہرایا تو وہ جنت میں جائے گا“، میں نے کہا: اگرچہ اس نے زنا کیا ہو اور چوری کی ہو؟ آپ نے فرمایا: ”ہاں“، ( اگرچہ اس نے زنا کیا ہو اور چوری کی ہو ) ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں ابو الدرداء سے بھی روایت ہے۔
