Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah(s.a.w) said: When your leaders are the best of you, the richest are the most generous among you, and your affairs are consulted among you, then the surface of the earth is better for you than its belly. And when your leaders are the worst of you, the richest are the stingiest among you, and your affairs are referred to your women, then the belly of the earth is better for you than its surface.

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأَشْقَرُ، حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، وَهَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ، قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا صَالِحٌ الْمُرِّيُّ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ إِذَا كَانَ أُمَرَاؤُكُمْ خِيَارَكُمْ وَأَغْنِيَاؤُكُمْ سُمَحَاءَكُمْ وَأُمُورُكُمْ شُورَى بَيْنَكُمْ فَظَهْرُ الْأَرْضِ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ مِنْ بَطْنِهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَإِذَا كَانَ أُمَرَاؤُكُمْ شِرَارَكُمْ وَأَغْنِيَاؤُكُمْ بُخَلَاءَكُمْ وَأُمُورُكُمْ إِلَى نِسَائِكُمْ فَبَطْنُ الْأَرْضِ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ مِنْ ظَهْرِهَا ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏لَا نَعْرِفُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ حَدِيثِ صَالِحٍ الْمُرِّيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَصَالِحٌ الْمُرِّيُّ فِي حَدِيثِهِ غَرَائِبُ يَنْفَرِدُ بِهَا لَا يُتَابَعُ عَلَيْهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهُوَ رَجُلٌ صَالِحٌ.

ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جب تمہارے حکمراں، تمہارے اچھے لوگ ہوں، اور تمہارے مالدار لوگ، تمہارے سخی لوگ ہوں اور تمہارے کام باہمی مشورے سے ہوں تو زمین کی پیٹھ تمہارے لیے اس کے پیٹ سے بہتر ہے، اور جب تمہارے حکمراں تمہارے برے لوگ ہوں، اور تمہارے مالدار تمہارے بخیل لوگ ہوں اور تمہارے کام عورتوں کے ہاتھ میں چلے جائیں تو زمین کا پیٹ تمہارے لیے اس کی پیٹھ سے بہتر ہے“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث غریب ہے، ۲- ہم اسے صرف صالح المری کی روایت سے جانتے ہیں، اور صالح المری کی حدیث میں ایسے غرائب ہیں جن کی روایت کرنے میں وہ منفرد ہیں، کوئی ان کی متابعت نہیں کرتا، حالانکہ وہ بذات خود نیک آدمی ہیں۔

Abu Hurairah narrated that the Prophet(s.a.w) said: You are in a time when whoever abandons a tenth of what he has been ordered, then he is ruined. Then, there will come a time in which whoever does a tenth of what he has been ordered shall be saved.

Ibn 'Umar narrated that the Messenger of Allah(s.a.w) stood on the Minbar and said: The land of Fitan is there and he pointed to the east, meaning: Where the sun rises from the horn of Shaitan or he said: The horn of the sun.

Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah(s.a.w) said: Black standards will come from Khurasan, nothing shall turn them back until they are planted in Jerusalem.

Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: When time draws near, the dreams of a believer will hardly ever fail to come true, and the most truthful of them in dreams will be the truest in speech among them. The dream of a Muslim is a portion among the forty-six portions of Prophet-hood. And dreams are of three types: The righteous dream which is good news from Allah, dreams in which the Shaithan frightens someone, and dreams about something that has happened to the man himself. So when one of you sees what he dislikes, then he should get up and spit, and not tell any of the people- he said:- and I like the fetters in a dream while I dislike the iron collar. And the interpretation of fetters is being firm in the religion .

Ubadah bin As-Samit narrated that the Prophet (s.a.w) said: The dreams of the believer are a portion of the forty-six portions of Prophet-hood .

Anas bin Malik narrated: The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: 'Indeed Messenger-ship and Prophethood have been terminated, so there shall be no Messenger after me, nor a Prophet.' He(Anas) said: The people were concerned about that, so he (s.a.w) said: 'But there will be Mubash-shirat.' So they said: 'O Messenger of Allah! What is Mubash-shirat?' He said: 'The Muslim's dreams, for it is a portion of the portions of Prophethood.'
