Uqbah bin Amir Al-Juhani narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: Do not force your sick to eat, for indeed Allah, Blessed and Most High, provides them food and drink. (Dai'f)
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ يُونُسَ بْنِ بُكَيْرٍ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ لَا تُكْرِهُوا مَرْضَاكُمْ عَلَى الطَّعَامِ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يُطْعِمُهُمْ وَيَسْقِيهِمْ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏لَا نَعْرِفُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ.
عقبہ بن عامر جہنی رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”تم اپنے بیماروں کو کھانے پر مجبور نہ کرو، اس لیے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ انہیں کھلاتا پلاتا ہے“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث حسن غریب ہے، ہم اسے صرف اسی سند سے جانتے ہیں۔

And whoever kills himself with poison, then his poison will be in his hand, to continually take it in the Fire of Jahannam, dwelling in that state eternally.

So he said: We use it as a treatment. So the Messenger of Allah (S.A.W) said: It is certainly not a treatment, rather, it is a disease.
