Translation

Arabic, english and urdu

Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah said: How wonderful it is for one of them that he obeys Allah and fulfills the rights of his master. Meaning the slave. And Ka'b said: Allah and His Messenger spoke the truth.

حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ:‏‏‏‏ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ نِعِمَّا لِأَحَدِهِمْ أَنْ يُطِيعَ رَبَّهُ وَيُؤَدِّيَ حَقَّ سَيِّدِهِ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَعْنِي:‏‏‏‏ الْمَمْلُوكَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَالَ كَعْبٌ:‏‏‏‏ صَدَقَ اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَابْنِ عُمَرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.

ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”ان کے لیے کیا ہی اچھا ہے کہ اپنے رب کی اطاعت کریں اور اپنے مالک کا حق ادا کریں“، آپ کے اس فرمان کا مطلب لونڈی و غلام سے تھا ۱؎۔ کعب رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں: اللہ اور اس کے رسول نے سچ فرمایا۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں ابوموسیٰ اشعری اور ابن عمر رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں۔
