Translation

Arabic, english and urdu

Anas narrated that the Messenger of Allah said: Do not cut off one another, nor desert one another, nor hate one another, nor envy one another. Be you , O worshippers o Allah, brothers. It is not lawful for the Muslim to shun his brother for more than three(days).

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ الْعَطَّارُ، وَسَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ لَا تَقَاطَعُوا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَا تَدَابَرُوا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَا تَبَاغَضُوا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَا تَحَاسَدُوا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَكُونُوا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ إِخْوَانًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَا يَحِلُّ لِمُسْلِمٍ أَنْ يَهْجُرَ أَخَاهُ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثٍ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ الْعَوَّامِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ.

انس رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”آپس میں قطع تعلق نہ کرو، ایک دوسرے سے بےرخی نہ اختیار کرو، باہم دشمنی و بغض نہ رکھو، ایک دوسرے سے حسد نہ کرو، اللہ کے بندو! آپس میں بھائی بھائی بن جاؤ، کسی مسلمان کے لیے جائز نہیں کہ تین دن سے زیادہ اپنے مسلمان بھائی سے سلام کلام بند رکھے“ ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں ابوبکر صدیق، زبیر بن عوام، ابن مسعود اور ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں۔

Salim narrated from his father who said that the Messenger of Allah said: There is to be no envy except for two: A man to whom Allah grants wealth and he spends from it during the hours of the night and the hours of the day. And a man to whom Allah grants (memorization of) the Quran so he stands with it (in prayer) during the hours of the night and the hours of the day.
