Abu Hurairah narrated that : the Prophet met him while he was Junub. He said: [So I slipped away from him - meaning:] I withdrew - to perform Ghusl. Then he returned, so he said: 'Where have you been?' Or: 'Where did you go?' I replied: 'I was Junub.' So he said: 'Indeed the believer is not defiled.'''

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْقَطَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ الطَّوِيلُ، عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْمُزَنِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَقِيَهُ وَهُوَ جُنُبٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَانْبَجَسْتُ أَيْ فَانْخَنَسْتُ فَاغْتَسَلْتُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ جِئْتُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَيْنَ كُنْتَ أَوْ أَيْنَ ذَهَبْتَ ؟ ،‏‏‏‏ قُلْتُ:‏‏‏‏ إِنِّي كُنْتُ جُنُبًا قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّ الْمُسْلِمَ لَا يَنْجُسُ . قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ. قال أبو عيسى:‏‏‏‏ وَحَدِيثُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَعْنَى قَوْلِهِ فَانْخَنَسْتُ يَعْنِي:‏‏‏‏ تَنَحَّيْتُ عَنْهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَدْ رَخَّصَ غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ فِي مُصَافَحَةِ الْجُنُبِ وَلَمْ يَرَوْا بِعَرَقِ الْجُنُبِ وَالْحَائِضِ بَأْسًا

ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی الله علیہ وسلم ان سے ملے اور وہ جنبی تھے، وہ کہتے ہیں: تو میں آنکھ بچا کر نکل گیا اور جا کر میں نے غسل کیا پھر خدمت میں آیا تو آپ نے پوچھا: تم کہاں تھے؟ یا: کہاں چلے گئے تھے ( راوی کو شک ہے ) ۔ میں نے عرض کیا: میں جنبی تھا۔ آپ نے فرمایا: مسلمان کبھی نجس نہیں ہوتا۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کی حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں حذیفہ اور ابن عباس رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں، ۳- اور ان کے قول «فانخنست» کے معنی «تنحیت عنہ» کے ہیں ”یعنی میں نظر بچا کر نکل گیا“، ۴- بہت سے اہل علم نے جنبی سے مصافحہ کی اجازت دی ہے اور کہا ہے کہ جنبی اور حائضہ کے پسینے میں کوئی حرج نہیں ۱؎۔

Umm Salamah narrated: Umm Sulaim bint Milhan came to the Prophet and she said: 'O Messenger of Allah! Indeed Allah is not embarrassed of the truth. So is it required of a woman - meaning Ghusl - when she sees in her sleep similar to what a man sees?' He replied: 'Yes. When she finds water (wetness), then she is perform Ghusl.' Umm Salamah said: I said to her: 'O Umm SuIaim! You have disgraced the women!'

Aishah narrated: Sometimes the Prophet would perform Ghusl from Janabah then come to seek warmth from me, he would hold me and not perform Ghusl.

Abu Dharr narrated that : AlIah's Messenger said: Pure clean earth is a purifier for the Muslim; even if he did not find water for ten years. Then if he finds water, then let him use it (for purification) on his skin. For, that is better.

Aishah narrated: Fatimah bint Abi-Hubaish came to the Prophet and said: 'O Messenger of Allah! I am a woman who suffers from persistent bleeding and I do not become clean. Shall I give up Salat?' He said: 'No. That is only a bIood vessel, it is not menstruation. When your menstruation begins then leave the Salat. And when it ends, then wash the blood from you and perform Salat.

Adiyy bin Thabit narrated from his father, that : the Prophet said about the Mustahadah that she should: Leave the Salat for the days of her period which she menstruates in, then perform Ghusl, and perform Wudu for every Salat, and observe Saum and perform Salat.

A similar narration as no. 120. : Abu Eisa said: Sharik is alone in narrating this Hadith from Abu Al Yaqzan.[He said:] I asked Muhammad (ibn Isma'il AI-Bukhari) about this Hadlth. I said: Adiyy bin Thabit from his father, from his grandfather; what is the name of Adiyy's grandfather? But Muhammad did not know his name. And I mentioned to Muhammad that Yahya bin Ma'in said his name is Dinar, and he did not contradict him. Ahmad and 1shaq said ahout the Mustahadah: If she performs Ghusl for every prayer that is more prudent for her, and if she performs Wudu for each prayer, then that is acceptable from her, and if she combines between two prayers with (one) Ghusl then that is acceptable.
