Ibn Abbas narrated: A man became a Muslim during the time of the Prophet, then his wife became a Muslim, so he said: 'O Messenger of Allah! She accepted Islam along with me, so return her to me.' So he returned her to him.

حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ عِيسَى، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا جَاءَ مُسْلِمًا عَلَى عَهْدِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ جَاءَتِ امْرَأَتُهُ مُسْلِمَةً، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏إِنَّهَا كَانَتْ أَسْلَمَتْ مَعِي فَرُدَّهَا عَلَيَّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ فَرَدَّهَا عَلَيْهِ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏سَمِعْت عَبْدَ بْنَ حُمَيْدٍ، يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ يَزِيدَ بْنَ هَارُونَ يَذْكُرُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاق هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَحَدِيثُ الْحَجَّاجِ، عنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عنْ أَبِيهِ، عنْ جَدِّهِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ رَدَّ ابْنَتَهُ زَيْنَبَ عَلَى أَبِي الْعَاصِي بِمَهْرٍ جَدِيدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَنِكَاحٍ جَدِيدٍ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدِيثُ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَجْوَدُ إِسْنَادًا وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَى حَدِيثِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ.

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی الله عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ ایک شخص نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے زمانے میں مسلمان ہو کر آیا پھر اس کی بیوی بھی مسلمان ہو کر آ گئی تو اس نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! اس نے میرے ساتھ اسلام قبول کیا تھا۔ تو آپ اسے مجھے واپس دے دیجئیے۔ تو آپ نے اسے اسی کو واپس دے دیا ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث صحیح ہے، ۲- حجاج نے یہ حدیث بطریق «عمرو بن شعيب عن أبيه عن جده» روایت کی ہے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنی بیٹی زینب کو ابوالعاص کے ہاں نئے مہر اور نئے نکاح کے ذریعے لوٹایا، ۳- یزید بن ہارون کہتے ہیں کہ ابن عباس کی حدیث سند کے اعتبار سے سب سے اچھی ہے لیکن عمل «عمرو بن شعيب عن أبيه عن جده» کی حدیث پر ہے۔

Alqamah narrated that : Ibn Mas'ud was asked about a man who married a woman and he did not stipulate the dowry for her, and he did not enter into her until he died. So Ibn Mas'ud said: She gets the same dowry as other women, no less and no more, she has to observe the Iddah, and she gets inheritance. So Ma'qil bin Sinan Al-Ashja'I stood and said: The Messenger of Allah judged the same as you have judged regarding Birwa bint Washiq, a woman of ours. So Ibn Mas'ud was happy about that.

Ali (bin Abi Talib) narrated that The Messenger of Allah said: “Indeed Allah has made unlawful through suckling whatever He made unlawful through lineage.”

Aishah narrated that the Messenger of Allah said: “Indeed Allah has made unlawful through suckling whatever He made unlawful through birth.”

Aishah narrated: “My uncle through suckling came and asked permission (to enter) but I refused to admit him until I asked the Messenger of Allah. So the Messenger of Allah said: “Let him in since he is your uncle.’” She said: “It is only the woman who suckled me; I was not suckled by the man.’ So he said: ‘Indeed he is your uncle, so let him in.’”

Amr bin Ash-Shariq narrated that Ibn Abbas was asked about the case in which a man had two slave girls, one of them suckled a girl and the other suckled a boy, is it lawful for the boy to marry the girl? She said: “No, the semen is the same.”
